Why Crypto Education Is So Important Right Now

Cryptocurrency is becoming more popular, but most people still don’t fully understand how it works. A recent survey by Preply showed that while many millennials feel confident in their crypto knowledge, 60% of Americans don’t know what blockchain technology is, and blockchain is the core of how cryptocurrencies function.

There’s also a clear gender gap in crypto knowledge. Men reported feeling more confident than women. Even among people who already invest in crypto, over a third admitted they don’t completely understand it. Gen Z investors showed the most confusion, and most people are unsure about things like NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and the metaverse.

Even so, interest in crypto is growing. Over half of people who haven’t invested in crypto yet say they want to learn more, especially those from Generation X. In fact, about 27% said they would take a course to better understand digital assets.

That’s why crypto education is more important than ever. Luckily, more learning tools are now available. In the past, it was hard to find simple and trustworthy resources about Bitcoin, Ethereum, and blockchain. Now, things have changed.

Today, many universities offer blockchain courses, including MIT, Cambridge, and the University of Nicosia. Business schools like the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich have launched…
