The prime minister is expected to announce broad plans for a youth mobility deal on Monday as part of a wider agreement with the European UnionThe deal will bring Britain into the closest alignment with the EU since Brexit and will cover trade, agriculture, security and defence.
Starmer said that the deal, to be announced at a meeting at Lancaster House in London, would be a “really significant moment”. He added that the effects would be “measured in the pockets of working people” in the form of better job prospects and higher living standards.
