SEON has announced growth across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The company attributes this expansion to an increased demand for unified, real-time fraud detection and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions.

SEON has recently added new clients in the APAC region, including Salmon Group Ltd, CryptoGaming.com, and Forever Network. These companies are utilising SEON’s Know Your User (KYU) and Know Your Customer (KYC) features to address fraud risks within the region’s digital markets.

SEON has expanded its teams in Singapore and Jakarta with new technical, sales, and support specialists to support its regional activities. The company intends for this expansion to offer localised expertise and quicker responses to its clients.

Tamas Kadar, Co-Founder and CEO of SEON, commented on the APAC market, noting its opportunities and operational complexities.

“The mix of advanced digital economies and rapidly growing markets creates a fragmented risk environment, and legacy point solutions can’t keep pace. Our unified platform delivers real-time visibility and protection across the entire customer journey,” Tamas said.

Businesses in the region face the challenge of verifying identities and managing payment risks. At the same time, they must maintain regulatory compliance and ensure a smooth user experience. SEON’s platform employs AI, digital footprint analysis, and device intelligence to detect and prevent fraud.

Troy Nyi Nyi, Senior Vice President at SEON, observed that clients are increasingly seeking solutions capable of operating across multiple jurisdictions within APAC. He noted this is particularly true for those in the iGaming, fintech, and retail sectors.

“Our regional clients are increasingly prioritising fraud prevention platforms that can handle APAC’s payment complexity and varied identity verification methods,” he continued.

SEON plans to attend the SiGMA Asia conference in Manila from June 2-4, where Troy Nyi Nyi is scheduled to speak.
