He also stated that he plans to speak more about the idea during a live audio session on the platform.

Additionally, McGregor welcomed input from David Bailey, an advisor to President Donald Trump on digital assets. He said, “David, message me, let’s discuss your ideas!”

In one reply to podcast host Anthony Pompliano, he wrote, “We need the greatest minds for this BTC Reserve. Message me and let’s chat on my space”.

McGregor had announced his interest in running for president in March 2025. His campaign has focused mostly on immigration and crime, but he has not yet secured a spot on the ballot.
