Open our minds = Receiving good things
I spent the past 2 months preparing for this townhall.
Yup, for 2 long months.
I last delivered a townhall presentation representing APAC 2 years ago. Since then, we “disappeared” to do our own thing.
And so, I wanted to do a good job explaining what we have achieved and our struggles over the past 24 months. A good impression can mean a lot.
I pulled out all the figures, stitched together a deck, trimmed the fats, kept things concise, and injected a human story into the data points.
Deep down, I wanted my colleagues to understand how APAC is performing.
Their feedback on my presentation humbled me.
A diverse group
I did say I delivered a townhall presentation in France.
However, that is different from delivering a presentation to a French-only audience. I have a UN-like audience to speak to.
I had the opportunity to present myself and my region to people from diverse cultures.
