CMF Phone 2 Pro: Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is all set to launch its second smartphone — the CMF Phone 2 Pro — in India on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST. Along with the device, the company will also launch three other products on the same day: the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus.

Just a few days ahead of the formal debut, the company announced that the upcoming phone will feature a triple-camera system — including a 50MP telephoto lens, a high-performance main sensor, and an ultra-wide camera.

The company also revealed, a day before tomorrow, that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will run on a chipset similar to that of the CMF Phone 1, which was launched last year. CMF, via X (formerly Twitter), said that the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset will power the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

CMF Phone 1: A Throwback

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will succeed the CMF Phone 1, which launched under the sub-brand in July 2024. Featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, the CMF by Nothing Phone 1 came with a dual-camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor and a 16MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery, and the base model (6GB RAM and 128GB storage) is priced at Rs 15,999 on Flipkart. It was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

Nothing’s Recently Launched Phone (3a) Series

Last month, Nothing upgraded its mid-range lineup with the launch of the Phone (3a) series in India. Building on the success of the Phone (2a), the series includes two models: the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro. These devices are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, Qualcomm Adreno GPU, and Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. Both models come with large 5000mAh batteries. The Phone (3a) Pro, in particular, boasts a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP Sony ultra-wide sensor, and its standout feature: a 50MP Periscope OIS camera.
