BX Digital has appointed Samuel Bisig as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and member of the Executive Board.

In this role, he will lead the company’s technology strategy, oversee IT operations, and continue to develop its digital infrastructure.

Bisig joined BX Digital in early 2022 as an external consultant and was appointed Head of Technology in July 2024.

During this time, he has played a central role in the design and development of the company’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-based trading and settlement platform.

He brings a background in technology development, innovation management, and strategic leadership.

Prior to joining BX Digital, Bisig held senior roles at the global IT consultancy GFT Technologies SE and Heidelberg Instruments Nano AG.

He has also contributed to research projects at IBM Research, Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

His areas of expertise include IT architecture, software engineering, and DLT protocols.

He holds a degree in Material Science and Engineering from ETH Zurich and completed an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington, D.C., in 2023.

“Samuel Bisig combines deep technical expertise with a strong sense of innovation and strategic vision. I look forward to working with him to lead BX Digital from its build-up phase into full market readiness and to actively shape the company’s future,”
