Then, in 2016, ACE Limited acquired the Chubb Corporation, resulting in it becoming a leading global insurance company that operates under the Chubb brand. The company’s stock is part of the S&P 500 Index, and as of 2022, Chubb became the world’s largest publicly traded P&C insurer with a market cap of $87 billion.
