I’m 30f living in a big city making $89,000 a year and have about $8,800 cc debt. Because of taxes, contributions to my retirement, and commuter deductions, each pay check is $2,000 so I make $4,000 a month after reductions. I try to do a ton of overtime and I put that all towards my cc but it’s not stable. I make well over the minimum payments every month. My credit score is 811. Around this time last year, my credit card was around 13k. I dipped into my savings to pay it down a little but I don’t want to diminish my savings account. It has gone down a couple of thousand since the end of last year. I also paid for something for someone and once they pay me back, it will go down almost $1,000. My question is should I transfer my balance to a no interest credit card. Right now my balance is about $175 a month at 20.24%. I really don’t like the feeling of being in debt and constantly being in a cycle. Any advice is helpful. Thank you
