I have a mortgage that I’m paying 2.3k for. It’s in southwest area of Las Vegas. It’s a 3 bed 2.5 bath 1440 sqft townhouse and I don’t have any plans of selling it, atleast not yet. I’m still able to save up monthly even though I pay for the mortgage alone however I can’t help but to think that I can save more money. I was thinking of renting out a room but I realized I can’t fathom the idea of having a roommate since there might be a huge difference in lifestyle. Another option is to maybe rent out the whole place while I rent somewhere else that’s cheaper but I’m not sure if I can rent out my house without taking a partial loss. I’m trying to see where I can cut down on and mortgage is pretty much the only thing. I’m also thinking about how I can make any passive income etc. but I feel stuck. Doing short term AirBnBs are a huge risk since Vegas has hotel casinos. 🎰
Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations? I would greatly appreciate it.
